ACTION ALERT:
The NDHRC bills are scheduled for action in the ND Legislature:
The name change has been approved 7-0 do pass in the Senate Industry, Business &
Labor Committee and it's on the calendar for a vote on Monday. Please e-mail
your Senator about your support for this bill (SB 2245).
The ND Commission on Human Rights is being changed to an Advisory Committee to
the ND Dept. of Labor, if the Senate Human Services Committee will accept the
amendment tomorrow. The original bill had a vote of 4-1 do not pass out of
committee. And, please e-mail your Senator about your support for the
amendment (SB 2337).
You can find who your Senator is by viewing a list of all the legislative
districts and the legislators who are in each district go to

To send an email to a specific legislator go to

legislator's name you want to send an email to and a window with the bio for
this legislator will open. Then click on the legislators' email address listed
and a window will open and allow you to send an email directly to this
legislator.
